There are many reasons why this property appealed to us, but I think one of the greatest assets is this cute little cottage in the backyard. We are fortunate to be getting a double lot with this purchase - a rarity in Chagrin Falls. The cottage is located at the rear of the second lot. It needs a lot of work but will make a wonderful studio or guest house. The historical significance is quite interesting as well. Apparently the cottage dates back to the 1920's. It was the first car garage in the Village. During the second World War, it was converted into an efficiency apartment. It hasn't been used in many years and will benefit from our TLC.
